Obituary for Earl Eugene Wilson Sr.

Earl Eugene Wilson Sr. also known to everyone as "Cowboy" was born on November 29,1942 to Emzie D. Wilson and Willa Mae Pearson in Toledo, OH. He departed this life on Thursday, June 13, 2019. Earl confessed in Christ at an early age.

Earl attended Jesup W. Scott High School. He was a participant of the Motown introduction of the early 1960s. He was a traveling drummer for nearly 10 years. Earl went on to be a hard working electrician for over 40 years. He loved outdoor sports that included fishing, hunting, boating, skiing and horse back riding. He also enjoyed boxing, riding motor cycles and race cars.

Earl was united in Holy Matrimony to Avis Green on January 29, 1977 for 38 years. Earl was a very happy and fun loving person and love spending time with his family and friends.

Earl was preceded in death by his parents Emzie D. Wilson and Willa Mae Pearson; brothers Emzie M. Wilson, Talbert P. Wilson and Marlon W. Bryant and sister Barbara L. Bell.

Earl leaves to cherish his memories children Earl F. Williams, Bridget Bussey (Victor), Shalena Flowers, Ava Hester (Perry), Sasia King (Paul) and Earl E. Wilson Jr. (Jana); Sisters Emily Wilson and Cherie Crosby; brothers Michael Bryant and Vincent Bryant. Earl was blessed with 12 loving grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren that he cherished dearly and also a host of nieces and nephews that were very dear to him.
