Obituary for Roger Dwayne Ellis
Roger Dewayne Ellis, 65, of Berkshire Place, was born September 2, 1953, to parents Oscar Bell Ellis Jr. and Willa Mae Ellis. He died Monday, June 24, 2019 at home in bed with a smile on his face.
He was an Army Veteran and a truck driver for 35 plus years. Roger was a loving father, brother, and uncle. Those who knew him knew he was always on time, never liked to waste time, and he had traveled to all the places he desired to visit.
He is preceded in death by both parents, Oscar Bell Ellis Jr. and Willa Mae Ellis, and one of his sisters, Darlene Michelle Baker.
He leaves to cherish his memories Delores Peer and her three sons; daughter, Eryka Ellis; granddaughters, Camille and Renee Phenizy (twins), KaLynn and Yasmin Ellis; brothers, Daryl and Dion Ellis and Michael Baker; sisters, Debra Taylor and 17 nieces and nephews.
