Condolence: I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Phyllis.I too have just lost a love one just this Monday passed, I know the void feeling and the asking of questions, but I do find comfort in prayer asking for help for the hurt I am feeling. We can help each other heal.
I don't know if you are a reader of the scriptures, but they do help ease the pain of hurt. Please read 2Corinthians 1:3,4 reading this did ease my pain and I hope it does the same for you also.

I am so sorry for loss. It is never easy to deal with the loss of someone we love. But by looking beyond ourselves to the bible we find support. I have been helped by 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 where it says, "Praised be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of tender mercies and the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials so that we may be able to comfort others in any sort of trial with the comfort that we receive from God"

I pray you find peace and comfort.
