My husband and I used House of Day for his father’s service. We currently reside in Michigan, so we had to do all of the planning via telephone. Ms. Day was so accommodating and helpful. I called several times to ask questions and April was so pleasant. I kept apologizing for the frequent calls and she assures me that it was not a problem.

The price was fair; the location was clean (inside and out) and they have a sitting area with a foundation; which to me was a bonus. My husband and I sat out there before the service started. It was so peaceful and tranquil. Just what you need when you’re going through such a difficult day.

I would definitely recommend House of Day to anyone needing a compassionate team to take care of your loved one’s homecoming.

My husband and I are also black business owners. It is refreshing  to see other success black businesses doing things right!  Hats off to House of Day!

The entire staff of House of Day was great. When my Dad passed his request was to go to another funeral home. That funeral home was unprofessional and offered subpar service.
